We look forward to welcoming you to the peace and tranquillity of our property in 2023. Dromore House, set in beautiful countryside, it is                                                                      a unique heritage property offering an escape from the other worlds…

Built around 1826, Dromore House is a modest Georgian family home set in 3 acres of mature grounds just 25 minutes from the Giant's Causeway or 20 minutes from Royal Portrush Golf Club. Dromore House is only 5 minutes from Coleraine town and all amenities, despite being in a truly rural environment. Restored over the past 20 years, it has retained almost all of its original features.

The old Scullery (former servant’s quarters) has a separate entrance,  a basic kitchen, comfortable bedroom/seating area and en-suite shower room and is suitable for guests who want to bring along a small well behaved dog. Charming, with low ceilings -

Relax and enjoy this spacious Georgian country house with large open fires, generous Irish hospitality and home-cooked locally sourced food.

Garden & Wildlife

Dromore house is set in a framework of beautiful trees with stunning views. Wander through the woodland and soak up the beautiful countryside. A small kitchen garden and orchard add to the charm with lovely places to sit outside and take in the peaceful surroundings. Our intention is to continue to create areas of wild garden and a haven for wildlife. We regularly see hares, badgers, foxes, squirrels & hedgehogs as well as a huge range of birds, who make their home on the grounds.

We welcome guests who come to Northern  Ireland for the outdoor life. Golfers, walkers, bikers and fishermen are all welcome to request a drying service (and anybody else that would like to use the service). We offer overnight drying facilities, a place to park bikes undercover and indoor storage for golf clubs and fishing equipment.
